The ACA Litter Registration form is an essential tool for breeders who wish to register a litter of puppies with the American Canine Association (ACA). This form captures critical information about the litter, including the breed of pups whelped, whelping date, and details about both the sire and dam. Breeders must provide the registered names and numbers of the sire and dam, along with their respective owners’ names. An important aspect of the registration process is the requirement to attach a photocopy of the non-ACA registration certificate and a three-generation pedigree for any canine registered with another association. For a fee of $18.00, breeders can register their litters, while an additional fee of $15.00 is available for a three-generation pedigree. The ACA provides options for express delivery and outlines payment methods, including checks and credit cards, making the process accessible. Breeders should be aware of the importance of reviewing all registration documents for accuracy upon receipt, as errors must be reported within 90 days to avoid additional fees. Documents used along the form

The ACA Litter Registration form is a crucial document for breeders wishing to register a litter of puppies with the American Canine Association. Along with this form, several other documents may be required or beneficial for the registration process. Below is a list of these documents, along with brief descriptions of each.

  • Non-ACA Registration Certificate: This document serves as proof of registration with another canine association. It must be attached to the ACA Litter Registration form if the sire or dam is registered elsewhere.
  • Three-Generation Pedigree: A pedigree provides detailed lineage information for the puppies. This document must accompany the registration application to validate the ancestry of the litter.
  • Payment Method Documentation: This includes checks, money orders, or credit card information. It is essential for processing the registration fees associated with the litter.
  • Affidavit of Gift: The Texas Forms Online provides a template for a legal document that facilitates the transfer of ownership of property or assets as a gift, without monetary exchange, ensuring clarity in the transaction process.
  • Express Delivery Request Form: If breeders opt for faster processing, this form requests express delivery of the registration documents. It includes an additional fee for expedited service.
  • Owner Identification: A form of identification may be required to verify the identity of the sire and dam's owners. This helps ensure that the information provided is accurate and legitimate.
  • Application for Additional Services: If breeders wish to request services such as a three-generation pedigree or express delivery, they may need to fill out a separate application form for these additional services.

Having these documents ready can streamline the registration process and help ensure compliance with ACA requirements. It is advisable to review all documentation for accuracy before submission to avoid potential delays or issues.
